What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to help you book for a taster row and to assist you with your membership should you decide to join the club.
- Internal record keeping to book a taster row and details about membership
- Members receive regular emails to keep you informed about weekly rowing schedules, events and club updates
- Members will on occasion to be asked to provide survey feedback about the club.
These 3 points are all in line with the GDPR requirement of legitimate interest to enable the club to function by keeping its members informed.
Glofox is also subject to certain obligations with regard to the security of your personal data processed via the booking app. However, your rights, as set out in this privacy statement in relation to your personal data processed through the Glofox Platform are owed to you by us, and you should contact us at email@example.com if you have any queries in relation to the use of your personal data through Glofox.
Once a membership ceases, you will be deleted from our App and mailing list (which is cleaned quarterly.) However, if at any time you would like to stop receiving email communication from us, you may simply click the “Unsubscribe” link that is always at the footer of our emails and you will be automatically removed from our mailing list.
