This year’s Great River Race takes place on Saturday 3 September. It is the most famous UK Traditional Boat Championship and known as London’s River Marathon.
A spectacular boat race up the River Thames from London’s Docklands to the riverside by Ham House in Richmond, it attracts over 330 crews from all over the globe.
The 21 mile race appeals to every level of competitor! From serious athletes who like winning, to those who enjoy laughter, fancy dress and charity stunts, it’s a great fun day out for both competitors and spectators.
There will be plenty of RBBC crews taking part.
Even if you’re not rowing, be sure to come down to the finish on the riverside by Ham House for the after-race party – which continues later on at the RBBC Clubhouse!
